LLAMMAG
Latin American Laboratory for Advanced Micromagnetic Modelling. We develop and apply computational methods to study engineered and natural magnetic materials at the nano- and microscale. Our laboratory focuses on two main areas: nanotechnology and rock magnetism. In nanotechnology, we explore topological magnetism (skyrmionics), magnonics, and spintronics. In rock magnetism, we study the Earth's magnetic field by analyzing magnetic grains in volcanic samples using Micromagnetic Tomography.
